This workshop is an introduction to board building.

Perfect for those who want to discover and learn about the techniques of skateboard building.

Includes a demonstration of the gluing and pressing technique with a vacuum press (Thin Air Press). The boards you will be working on will be pressed beforehand by us and you will learn how to sand, plane and drill the holes for the trucks. At the end of the half-day, you will leave with your board ready to varnish and setup your truck (not included).

Includes (4hours):

• a full demonstration of board building
• followed by sanding and applying the finishing touches to the board of your choice (board pressed by us in advance).

Prices include the materials, (veneer and glue) use of tools, molds and vacuum bags. Hardware, such as trucks wheels and grip tape are not included.

-> At the end of the session, you will take home your own handmade blank deck ready to decorate. Doing graphics can take some time, which is why we can't fit the decoration part into the workshop. Enjoy taking your time to do this at home using paints, poscas, stencils to just to name a few. Wood is a great canvas for many different graphic techniques.

Not included: Laser engrave your graphics, trucks and wheels also available as an option.
